The Mankind Project Arizona

The New Warrior Training Adventure®
The New Warrior
Men have been warriors for thousands of years and every man has his warrior side. But social forces pressure many to repress or distort this part of themselves. They unconsciously substitute a 'shadow' for the healthy warrior energy so essential for sustaining individual, family and community balance.

The New Warrior is a man who has begun the confrontation with the destructive shadow and has reclaimed hard-won ownership of the highly focused, accountable energy that empowers and shapes the healthy masculine self.

Sustained by this energy, the New warrior is at once tough and loving, wild and gentle, fierce and tolerant. He lives passionately and compassionately, because he has learned to face his demons and to live his personal mission with integrity.
When you look in the mirror, look hard, do you see the man you really want to be?

The ManKind Project® offers training which support men in developing lives of greatness and connection. We believe that ALL men have a valuable contribution to make to their world and deserve the opportunity to discover and express their unique purpose and passion. We share our humanity – our hopes and dreams, our trials our troubles.

We share our laughter and our sorrows, our strengths and our weaknesses, our greatness and our faults. We support and challenge our faults. We support and challenge ourselves to face our fears, live our dreams, make use of our gifts and become the men we’ve always wanted to be.
NWTA - A Radical Departure

The NWTA is a traditional masculine initiation and is geared to the modern-day man. Two words that best describe it are - Radical Departure. There needs to be such a departure if the training is to be effective. Men are asked to "pull the plug" on their personal computers (their heads) when they reach the training.

Everything that occurs takes place in a totally different realm. The ManKind Project's New Warrior Training Adventure® (NWTA) is a two and half day transformative men's training experience. The NWTA offers men a powerful, challenging opportunity to look at all aspects of their lives in a richly supportive environment.

· I did not show up broken, yet I was healed of wounds that I had tried to hide, repress or deny.

· I did not show up asleep, yet I was awoken to a existence I only dreamed about.

· I did not show up lost, yet I found a pathway that works on any terrain.

· I did not show up restless, yet I found more peace than I dared to believe existed.
